Welcome! My name is Allie Liko, and I am an Ottawa-based family photographer.

If you are considering in investing in photography, I will say to you: photographs are always a good idea. I believe that photography has a magical way of freezing a memory so perfectly that it gives you emotion just by looking at it. Moments that are fast and fleeting; a child growing, a move into a new house, an engagement, a wedding, a birth… photos tell a story that you can keep on reliving.

I shoot in a very natural, relaxed style. I am a firm believer in tummy-hurting, nose squishing, tears rolling laughter in photos, and encourage my clients to arrive and simply be themselves.

Why not make the actual picture taking a fun experience, too?

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator, and I enjoy amalgamating my love of people and photography. I love to sing, laugh, watch old movies, and try new foods. In fact, I always have snacks in my camera bag in case someone needs a pick-me-up during a session (and I'm not just talking about the little ones!)

I married my high school sweetheart, and we love calling Ottawa our home!
