Anniversary Session in the Rain

Here is the story of my best friend Sam:

Sam is amazing. She always has been. We have been friends since we were two. 

An older lady at our church took our hands and sat us beside each other in Sunday school and we were inseparable after that. 

We grew up listening to the oldies, playing basketball together, watching Grease every single day one summer, and eventually got to graduate from the same high school as she joined my school in our final year. 

Sami is crazy talented - she can sing, paint, and make just about anyone laugh until they cry.

Sam left Ottawa to attend school in Liverpool, and that is where she met Dan.

We LOVE Dan! He compliments her in every way, and I'd say they were perfectly matched. 

Dan is from England and has been living there since they were married, almost TWO YEARS ago!

We are praying for accepted Visa's so Sami can move to be with her wonderful husband (though I selfishly wish it weren't so far away) ;)

I was so happy to take pictures of these two while Dan is here visiting for the month. I genuinely have never seen my best friend so happy and so in love. 

Side note: When Dan saw Sami appear in this dress, I could literally see hearts in his eyes.
